Get ready for the ultimate livestock showdown! Master Showperson is one of the most thrilling competitions at the Jefferson County Fair, where the best of the best go head-to-head to claim the title of Ultimate Showperson. The Supreme Showperson from Dairy, Beef, Swine, Sheep, Dairy Goat, Meat Goat, and Equine will step into the ring, showing off their skills and knowledge across all species. It's a test of talent, confidence, and versatility—who will rise to the top? Join us Saturday, July 12th at 7 PM to find out!
Things to Know:
- There will be a mandatory Master Showperson meeting for each participant at 5:30pm on the Friday of the Fair in the MAP building.
- Each participant (Supreme Champion from each species) will have the option to opt out of the competition, by 4pm on the Friday of the Fair.
- Animal selection will be determined by random draw.
- Show accessories such as combs, brushes, and show sticks will be supplied with each participating animal.
- Participants must stay in the staging area during the entire competition, and are not allowed the use of their cell phones.
